The designation *'avdi* (עַבְדִּי, 'My servant') applied to Nevukhadnetsar is deliberately provocative — this is the same title given to Moshe, David, and the prophets, and ultimately the Suffering Servant of Isa. 53. YHWH is not endorsing Babylon's brutality but declaring His sovereign use of a pagan king as a tool of divine purpose. The inclusion of wild animals echoes the Adamic dominion mandate of Gen. 1–2, now temporarily reassigned — a sign of how far creation-order has been disrupted by Yisra'el's covenant failure. FOG renders 'Nevukhadnetsar' in its Hebrew form; FOG Message uses the familiar English 'Nebuchadnezzar.'
