Verses 14–15 introduce a stunning reversal embedded within judgment: a new exodus, greater than the first. The oath 'As YHWH lives, who brought up the sons of Yisra'el from Mitzrayim' was the defining creedal formula of Israelite identity (cf. Amos 2:10; Mic. 6:4; Josh. 24:17). YHWH does not abolish it—He supersedes it with an even greater act of redemption. This oracle is nearly identical to Jer. 23:7–8, suggesting it was a foundational vision Yirmeyahu returned to repeatedly. Typologically, it points forward through the return from Babylon toward the final eschatological ingathering of Yisra'el.
