מִשְׁפָּטַי (*mishpatai* = "my judgments/legal rulings") draws on covenant-lawsuit (*rib*) language — YHWH as suzerain pronouncing judicial verdict in His own court, not merely expressing anger. The three-fold indictment — forsaking YHWH, burning offerings to other gods, bowing to hand-crafted idols — is the classic Deuteronomic covenant-breach triad (Deut 28–30). קִטֵּר (*qitter*) specifically means to send up smoke in cultic sacrifice; FOG renders it "offered smoke-sacrifices" to preserve cultic precision; FOG Message uses "burned offerings" for readability.
