Sing out, O barren woman who has never borne a child! Break into joyful shouting, you who have never labored in childbirth! For the children of the forsaken one will outnumber the children of the married wife, says Yahweh.
Burst into song, O barren one who has not given birth! Break forth in ringing joy and cry aloud, you who have never been in labour! For the children of the desolate woman are more than the children of the wedded wife, says YHWH.
Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
“Shout for joy, O barren woman, who bears no children; break forth in song and cry aloud, you who have never travailed; because more are the children of the desolate woman than of her who has a husband,” says the LORD.
