"From the womb" (*mibbeten*, מִבֶּטֶן) anchors Israel's rebellion not in a single moment of failure but in something ingrained from the very point of origin. The word *boged* (בּוֹגֵד, treacherous/traitor) is covenant-betrayal language used elsewhere of adulterous spouses and political defectors — this is apostasy, not merely moral lapse. FOG renders "from birth" for natural English flow; FOG Message uses "from the womb" to sharpen the contrast with Isaiah 49:1, where the Servant is also called from the womb — but for a radically different purpose.
