Then from what is left he fashions a god — his very own idol — and bows down before it. He prays to it and pleads, 'Save me! You are my god!'
The remainder he makes into a god — his idol — bows before it, prostrates himself and prays to it, saying, 'Deliver me, for you are my god!'
And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
From the rest he makes a god, his graven image. He bows down to it and worships; he prays to it and says, “Save me, for you are my god.”
