Seven distinct trees are listed — the number of completion in Hebrew cosmology — a full re-creation of lush, varied order where nothing should grow. The *shittah* (acacia) is the specific timber used to construct the Tabernacle (Ex. 25–27), giving this wilderness-transformation promise a tabernacle resonance: where YHWH's presence takes root, desert becomes sanctuary. The identities of *tidhar* and *te'ashur* remain uncertain; FOG uses 'elm and box tree' following Masoretic tradition, while FOG Message adopts 'plane tree and pine' following the Septuagint.
