Joy and celebration are stripped away from the fruitful land; no songs ring through the vineyards, no shouts of gladness rise. No one treads the wine in the vats — I have silenced the harvest cry.

And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.
Joy and gladness are removed from the orchard; no one sings or shouts in the vineyards. No one tramples the grapes in the winepresses; I have put an end to the cheering.
