The verb *nacham* (וּתְנַחֲמֵנִי), 'comforted me,' shares a root with the name Menahem and the book of Nahum; it means to breathe deeply, to sigh, to be consoled — and often implies a deliberate turning of the divine disposition from judgement toward restoration. FOG preserves the structural sequence — anger turned back, then comfort — honouring the relational movement of the verse; FOG Message brings out the emotional arc from burning wrath to tender consolation, giving the line its full pastoral warmth.
