Translations
Even if Ephraim flourishes like a vine among the reeds, the breath of Yahweh is coming — an east wind rising up from the wilderness — and every spring will run dry, every fountain will fail, every treasury will be looted of its finest treasures.
Though he may flourish among the reeds, an east wind shall come — the breath of YHWH — rising from the wilderness. His spring shall dry up and his fountain fail; every treasury shall be stripped of its precious things.
Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
Although he flourishes among his brothers, an east wind will come—a wind from the LORD rising up from the desert. His fountain will fail, and his spring will run dry. The wind will plunder his treasury of every precious article.
