ἐν παραβολῇ (en parabolē) — "in a parable" or "in a figure/type" — is the exact word used for Yeshua's parables. The author is not merely saying "so to speak"; he is saying that the Akedah (the binding of Yitzchak) is itself a mashal, a parable — a typological event that enacts and foreshadows resurrection. FOG renders "in a manner of speaking" to be accurate without over-interpreting; FOG Message makes the typological-resurrection weight fully explicit, since this is the very point the author is driving toward in the context of Hebrews' high-priestly theology.
