זָכַר (zakar, "remembered") carries covenantal weight far beyond mere recollection — it signals active faithfulness to a prior commitment (cf. Gen 9:15–16). רוּחַ (ruach) means wind, breath, or spirit. F.O.G renders it concretely as "wind" for the physical act of drying; F.O.G Message's "sweeping" invites the reader to hear the echo of Gen 1:2, where the divine ruach moves over the primordial waters — the de-creation of the Flood now reverses under the same breath that first brought order from chaos.
