Two notable features converge here. First, הִתְעוּ אֹתִי אֱלֹהִים (hit'u oti Elohim): the verb is the Hiphil plural of תָּעָה (ta'ah, "to wander/go astray"), meaning "caused me to wander." The plural verb with Elohim is grammatically irregular—since Elohim normally governs a singular verb when referring to Israel's God—and may preserve an archaic literary layer or intensify the sense of divine agency. F.O.G renders it literally ("caused me to wander"), preserving the disorienting nuance; F.O.G Message softens it ("called me away… set me wandering") to emphasise purposeful divine leading. Second, חַסְדֵּךְ (chasdekh) is hesed—covenant-loyalty and steadfast love—which Abraham invokes as the relational basis for Sarah's disclosure strategy: even a survival deception is framed in covenantal terms.
