Then a survivor came and brought word to Abram the Hebrew, who was living by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite — brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner, who were Abram's sworn allies.
Then one who had escaped came and told Avram the Ivri, who was dwelling by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshkol and brother of Aner — and these were Avram's covenant-partners.
And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.
Then an escapee came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew. Now Abram was living near the Oaks of Mamre the Amorite, a brother of Eshcol and Aner, all of whom were bound by treaty to Abram.
