We are slaves — yet our God has not abandoned us in our slavery. He has extended His covenant-love before the kings of Persia, giving us the revival we needed to rebuild the house of our God, to restore what lay in ruins, and to raise a wall of protection around Judah and Jerusalem.'
For we are servants — yet our Elohim has not abandoned us in our servitude, but has stretched out covenant-love (*hesed*) toward us before the kings of Paras: granting us reviving to raise up the House of our Elohim, to restore its ruins, and to give us a protective wall in Yehudah and Yerushalayim.'
For we were bondmen; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
Though we are slaves, our God has not forsaken us in our bondage, but He has extended to us grace in the sight of the kings of Persia, giving us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and giving us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.
