The Hebrew *b'vo'i* (בְּבֹאִי) is first person singular—'when I came'—creating an exegetical puzzle: did Ezekiel come, or YHWH's kavod? In chs. 8–11 Ezekiel was transported in vision to Yerushalayim and watched the kavod depart ahead of destruction; that divine coming brought ruin. FOG renders 'when He came' following the reading that the kavod's own arrival enacted judgment; FOG Message renders 'when judgment descended' to hold the ambiguity intact. Either way, Ezekiel stands at the convergence of three visions: the inaugural K'var vision (ch. 1), the departure-from-Yerushalayim vision (chs. 8–11), and now this glorious return—the same form, the same voice, the same prostration.
