The perfect square of the inner court (100 × 100 cubits) echoes the holy of holies in Solomon's temple (20 × 20 cubits, 1 Kgs. 6:20) and anticipates the perfectly cubic New Jerusalem of Rev. 21:16—where length, width, and height are identical. In sacred geometry, the square and the cube symbolise absolute divine completeness, the space where heaven and earth entirely intersect without remainder. The altar standing 'before' the temple is not incidental positioning—it declares that approach to YHWH is inseparable from the altar's mediation.
