The Hebrew *agappekha* (from *agaph*, the wing or flank of an army) is a military term for troop formations — literally "your wings." The image of birds and beasts consuming fallen armies echoes the covenant curses of Deuteronomy 28:26 and anticipates the great supper of God in Revelation 19:17–21. The imagery inverts the sacrificial order: instead of Israel offering feasts before YHWH, the nations become the offering. FOG: "battle-wings"; FOG Message: "forces" — both are defensible; FOG preserves the precise military idiom.
