*Ben-adam* (son of man / son of Adam) is Ezekiel's characteristic address — used over 90 times in the book. It simultaneously marks his creatureliness (he is clay, like the dry bones) and his prophetic office (he speaks into that clay). *Adonai YHWH* — the doubled divine name used throughout Ezekiel — combines sovereign lordship with covenantal name. Ezekiel's answer is not evasion; it is profound faith: the question of resurrection lies entirely within YHWH's knowledge and power, not human calculation.
