The near-identical repetition of verse 3 is the *qinah*'s formal structural symmetry — a literary echo announcing that the same tragic arc is repeating. This is not careless writing but the lament's deliberate acknowledgment that the pattern of violence and exile will recur. The verb *hithhalekh* (הִתְהַלֵּךְ) — 'he walked about, prowled' — conveys purposeful, territorial movement among equals: this prince ranged in royal company before his own fall.
