Fire went out from her own stem and consumed her fruit, so that no mighty branch remained — no scepter fit to rule. This is a dirge, and it has become a dirge.
Fire went out from the rod of her own branches and devoured her fruit, so that no strong branch remained in her — no sceptre to rule. This is a lament, and it has become a lament.
And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.
