The phrase b'damayich hayi — 'in your blood, live!' — is repeated twice in the Hebrew text (both the MT and major critical editions retain the double occurrence). The blood here is birth-blood: the abandoned infant lies in its own gore, and YHWH's word overrides every condition for death. The declaration of life into bloodshed anticipates the covenant-in-blood themes of the chapter and ultimately of Sinai (Ex. 24:8). FOG keeps the stark, raw repetition; FOG Message uses 'spoke life into you' to draw out the creational and resurrection resonance of the divine word.
