*Va'eda* ('and I knew/recognised')—a moment of epiphanic recognition. At the Kevar canal, Ezekiel had not yet named the *chayyot* as cherubim; that identification required the Temple context, where the golden cherubim above the Ark provided a recognisable referent. The prophet's understanding deepens with each visionary encounter—revelation is progressive, not static. This is a rare glimpse of a prophet learning within his own vision. FOG renders the recognition plainly; FOG Message frames it as a moment of dawning comprehension: 'Now, in the Temple's light, I understood.'
