נְשָׂאוֹ לִבּוֹ (nasa'o libbo, "his heart lifted/carried him") uses the verb nasa' ("to lift, bear, carry") with the heart as the acting subject—the heart bears the person toward the work, like a wind beneath the will. This is the language of vocation and inner calling, not mere willingness. The F.O.G renders it "stirred him," preserving the sense of an inner upwelling, while the F.O.G Message renders it "moved," drawing out the resonance of divine compulsion leading to sacred service.
