נָבֹל תִּבֹּל (navol tibbol) — an infinitive absolute construction expressing emphatic certainty: "withering you will wither." The root נָבַל means to fade, wilt, or wither—used of dying leaves and fading blossoms (Isaiah 1:30; 40:7–8). It is a botanical metaphor: Mosheh and the people will wither like a plant under relentless sun. FOG honours the agricultural imagery: "wither and wilt"; FOG Message trades it for the modern psychological equivalent—"burn out"—sacrificing the botanical picture for visceral contemporary impact while fully preserving the verb's emphatic force.
