F.O.G renders it 'manifold' to preserve its density; F.O.G Message uses 'many-splendored' to evoke its visual and aesthetic richness. The shocking claim is that the congregation of believers—not angelic armies or cosmic spectacles—is the instrument through which these heavenly powers now learn the wisdom of God.
