The doubled verb sovev sovev (סוֹבֵב סֹבֵב)—"wheeling, wheeling"—is an instance of Hebrew verbal reduplication expressing continuous, dizzying motion. The F.O.G attempts to enact this by placing "the wind" mid-clause to create a breathless, disorienting effect that mirrors the content; the F.O.G Message opts for the more idiomatic "round and round it turns."
