The Hebrew *bepanav* (בְּפָנָיו)—'by His face / with His own presence'—echoes the profound language of Exodus 33:14–15, where YHWH promises that His *panim* (face/presence) will go with Israel through the wilderness. The rescue from Egypt was not delegated to an intermediary alone but was the direct, personal act of YHWH's own face turned toward His people. FOG renders 'with His own presence' to hold both the literal 'face' and the personal immediacy; FOG Message uses 'personally' to make the intimacy of divine action viscerally felt.
