The closing words of the Song and Moshe's career form one of Scripture's most poignant endings. The man who led Israel out of Mitzrayim, who stood at Sinai, who interceded against divine wrath, who sang this great cosmic Song — looks from a mountaintop at the land he cannot enter. Yet the text is not only grief: *tir'eh* (you will see) — Moshe *sees* the land. In the Transfiguration (Matt. 17; Luke 9), Moshe and Eliyahu appear with Yeshua, speaking of His *exodus* (Luke 9:31) — Moshe, who never crossed the Yarden, finally stands in the land in the presence of the One who is the Land's fulfilment. The exclusion becomes an anticipation.
