*Liqchi* (my teaching/my taking) is closely related to the verb *laqach* (to take, to receive) and carries the sense of doctrine that is received and absorbed. The fourfold rain imagery — rain, dew, showers, downpours — is not mere decoration but a deliberate climax from gentlest (dew) to most overwhelming (downpours), suggesting that the Torah comes both as tender mercy and as irresistible force. FOG follows the sequence structurally; FOG Message softens the progression slightly to aid poetic flow.
