Then you shall lift your voice and declare before Yahweh your God: 'My father was a wandering Aramean on the edge of ruin. He went down to Egypt—a small, vulnerable family—and lived there as a stranger. But from that remnant, God built a nation: vast, mighty, and beyond counting.'
And you shall respond and declare before YHWH your Elohim: 'A perishing Aramean was my father. He went down to Mitzrayim and sojourned there—few in number—and there he became a nation: great, mighty, and numerous.'
And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
and you are to declare before the LORD your God, “My father was a wandering Aramean, and he went down to Egypt few in number and lived there and became a great nation, mighty and numerous.
