*Me'on kodshekha* (מְּעוֹן קָדְשְׁךָ, 'Your holy dwelling') evokes YHWH's cosmic residence above the dome of the sky — not an abstract spiritual realm but the specific upper-register of ancient Israelite cosmology. *Hashkifah* (הַשְׁקִיפָה, 'look down') is the same verb used in Genesis 18:16 and 19:28 when the divine gaze surveys the land from above before decisive action follows. The prayer enacts a beautiful liturgical reversal: the worshipper has looked *up* with his offering; now he calls on YHWH to look *down* with blessing. Earth has fulfilled its covenant obligations; heaven is summoned to respond. FOG renders *shamayim* (שָׁמַיִם) as 'skies' to honour the ancient cosmological frame; FOG Message uses 'heaven' to draw out the theological weight of YHWH's transcendent sovereignty and covenant faithfulness.
