It is Jean Paul's lifelong work, unfolding in public — and you're invited in.

He works from a personal encounter with Jesus first, then draws on the scholarship of respected Jewish and Christian scholars — because the church was Jewish before it was anything else, and those roots change everything about how you read Scripture.

The *yoreh* (early/former rain, October–November) and *malkosh* (latter/spring rain, March–April) are the two critical precipitation events bracketing the agricultural year in the Levant. Their arrival was not meteorological accident but covenantal sign—YHWH's faithfulness made tangible in weather. The triad of *dagan* (grain), *tirosh* (new wine), and *yitshar* (fresh oil) represents the foundational pillars of Israelite agrarian wealth. To withhold these is the curse of verse 17; to grant them is life. FOG retains 'early rain and latter rain' as technically precise agricultural terms; FOG Message uses 'autumn rains and spring rains' to anchor the seasons in physical, experiential reality.
