בֶּן אָדָם (ben adam) = "son of man/son of Adam"—a standard Hebrew idiom for a mortal human being, emphasising creaturely fragility before the divine. The F.O.G preserves the Hebraism, echoing its use throughout Ezekiel where YHWH addresses the prophet identically, sharpening the contrast between the terrified mortal and the glorious messenger. לְעֵת קֵץ (le-et qets) = "for the time of the end"—a fixed, appointed moment rather than an indefinite vague future.
