"Winds of the skies" renders רוּחֵי שְׁמַיָּא (ruche shamayya) — Aramaic shamayya refers to the visible sky/atmosphere, though it carries cosmic register. The "great sea" (יַמָּא רַבָּא, yamma rabba) carries dual resonance: the Mediterranean geographically, but in the ancient Near Eastern cosmological imagination the churning sea represents primordial chaos from which threatening empires emerge — echoing the Canaanite tradition where Yam (Sea) opposes divine order. F.O.G renders the physical image; F.O.G Message draws out its cosmic-theological weight.
