καρποφοροῦν καὶ αὐξανόμενον ("bearing fruit and growing") deliberately echoes the creation mandate of Genesis 1:22, 28—"be fruitful and multiply" (פְּרוּ וּרְבוּ). Paul frames the Good News as a new-creation force doing in the entire world what God originally commissioned humanity to do in the garden—filling creation with life, abundance, and increase. The same two verbs recur in verse 10, anchoring the believer's personal walk to the same generative pattern.
