The Greek Ἰησοῦ (Iēsou) here refers to Joshua (יְהוֹשֻׁעַ, Yehoshua)—the identical Greek name used for Jesus (Yeshua). Stephen's audience would have heard the echo: the first Yeshua brought Israel into the promised land; the second Yeshua brings the greater inheritance. F.O.G preserves this by using 'Yehoshua.'
