κοινωνίᾳ — fellowship/communion/sharing: κοινωνία carries far more weight than the English 'fellowship' suggests. It encompasses shared life, shared possessions (as vv.44–45 make explicit), and shared spiritual participation — the same word used for Eucharistic participation in 1 Corinthians 10:16. τῇ κλάσει τοῦ ἄρτου ('the breaking of bread') almost certainly refers to the Lord's Supper rather than merely communal meals — the definite article implies a recognised, named practice. The four marks here (teaching, koinonia, breaking of bread, prayers) became the structural pattern of Messianic communal life.
