τὸν οὐρανὸν (ton ouranon, "sky/heaven") — the Greek word ouranos covers both the visible sky and the divine realm. FOG uses "sky" to keep the physicality of the vision primary — a sheet actually descending from above. FOG Message uses "heavens torn open" to draw out the theological resonance: a breach in the divine canopy, echoing Isaiah 64:1 ("O that You would rend the heavens and come down!") and the opened heavens at Yeshua's baptism.
