"hon tropon" (ὃν τρόπον): "In the same manner" — the return will mirror the departure: visibly, bodily, with clouds. The angels' announcement directly echoes Daniel 7:13 ("coming with the clouds of heaven"), establishing the Second Coming as the completion of the enthronement begun at the Ascension. The question "why do you stand gazing?" is not rebuke — it is redirection: go and bear witness until He returns.
