The king pressed further: "Is there truly no one remaining from Saul's house to whom I can show the covenant love of God?" Ziba answered, "Jonathan still has a son — but he is lame in both feet."
The king said, "Is there no one left of the house of Sha'ul that I might show him the covenant-love of Elohim?" Tsiva said to the king, "There is still a son of Yonatan — but he is crippled in both feet."
And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.
So the king asked, “Is there anyone left of the house of Saul to whom I can show the kindness of God?” Ziba answered, “There is still Jonathan’s son, who is lame in both feet.”
