Toi sent his son Joram to King David to salute him and pronounce a blessing over him, for David had fought and defeated Hadadezer — and Hadadezer had long waged war against Toi. With him Joram brought vessels of silver, of gold, and of bronze.
To'i sent his son Yoram to King Dawid to greet him and to bless him, because Dawid had fought against Hadad'ezer and struck him down — for Hadad'ezer had been a man of wars against To'i. And Yoram brought with him vessels of silver, vessels of gold, and vessels of bronze.
Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass:
he sent his son Joram to greet King David and bless him for fighting and defeating Hadadezer, who had been at war with Toi. Joram brought with him articles of silver and gold and bronze,
