What's the difference between the Café stamp and the Bible stamp?

How do I earn my Certificate of Completion?

Your Certificate is earned by finishing the Cover-to-Cover Bible Challenge — reading every chapter of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. When you reach the last page, your certificate is generated automatically. Members receive it digitally; patrons will have it mailed to their door.

What is the leaderboard and can I turn it off?

The leaderboard lets you compare XP progress with friends and fellow members — a little friendly accountability for those who want it. If you'd rather keep your journey personal, you can turn it off entirely in your profile settings. Either way, your ranks and XP are yours regardless.

Ahithophel's suicide is rendered with clinical, uncommented brevity — the narrator offers no moral verdict, no lament. The verb וַיֵּחָנַק (*vayehanaq*, 'he strangled/hanged himself') appears only here in this reflexive form. That he first 'set his house in order' (וַיְצַו אֶל-בֵּיתוֹ, *vayetzav el-beito*) reveals his calculating, methodical character persisting to the very end — he dies as he lived, in control of the details. Typologically, the parallels with Judas Iscariot are precise and have been noted since the early church: both betray the anointed son of David, both see their counsel rejected, both go home and hang themselves (cf. Matt. 27:3–5; Acts 1:18–19). The narrative silence is its own verdict. FOG retains the terse factuality; FOG Message renders the same restraint in contemporary idiom.
