Bosor is likely a deliberate wordplay on Hebrew basar (בָּשָׂר = flesh), identifying Balaam not by genealogy alone but by character — 'son of the flesh,' a man driven by fleshly appetite and greed. F.O.G follows the Hebrew original Be'or; F.O.G Message reflects the Greek Bosor tradition, with the 'flesh' wordplay implicit in context.
