When that officer had answered the man of God — 'Even if Yahweh threw open the very floodgates of heaven, could this come to pass?' — the prophet had answered, 'You will see it with your own eyes. But you will not eat one bite of it.'
When that shalish had answered the man of Elohim, saying, 'Even if YHWH opens sluice-gates in the skies, could such a thing happen?' — he had replied, 'You will see it with your own eyes, but you will not eat from it.'
