He took the mantle and struck the water, calling out, 'Where is Yahweh, the God of Elijah — where is He now?' And the water divided to the right and to the left, and Elisha crossed over.
He took the aderet of Eliyahu that had fallen from him and struck the water, crying out, 'Where is YHWH, the Elohim of Eliyahu — even He?' When he struck the water, it parted to the one side and the other, and Elisha crossed over.
