I wrote to you out of deep distress and a heart wrung tight with anguish — through floods of tears — not to wound you, but so you'd know how deeply I love you.
For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you — through many tears — not to grieve you, but that you might know the love I have for you so abundantly.
For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
