ἁρπαγέντα (harpagenta) is from ἁρπάζω (harpazō), meaning to seize or snatch with force — the same verb used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 of the end-time gathering of the saints. The passive voice signals that God is the one doing the seizing. "Third sky" (F.O.G) follows the ancient Jewish cosmological layering attested in 2 Enoch, the Testament of Levi, and 3 Baruch, in which the first sky is the atmosphere, the second the stellar realm, and the third the divine throne-room and garden-dwelling of God; the F.O.G Message retains "third heaven" as the received term carrying the same cosmological weight in Christian tradition.
