Footnotes
The emphasis on both 'mouth' and 'hands' is deliberate: Solomon stresses that the same God who *spoke* the promise personally has *enacted* it personally — there is no gap between divine word and divine deed. This 'mouth-to-hand' formula appears across the Deuteronomistic tradition as a signature of YHWH's absolute reliability (cf. 1 Kings 8:15, 24). The word that leaves His mouth arrives in history through His hand.
