The people of Jerusalem crowned Ahaziah, Jehoram's youngest son, as their new king — for the raiding party that had swept in with the Arabs had cut down all the older princes. And so Ahaziah, son of Jehoram king of Judah, took the throne.
The inhabitants of Yerushalayim made Achazyahu, his youngest son, king in his place — for the raiding band that came with the Aravim into the camp had struck down all the elder sons. So Achazyahu son of Yehoram, king of Yehudah, became king.
And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.
Then the people of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, the youngest son of Jehoram, king in his place, since the raiders who had come into the camp with the Arabs had killed all the older sons. So Ahaziah son of Jehoram became king of Judah.
